Home to School Transport Services - London

The HATS (Home to School Transport) Service supports families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) by providing safe and reliable transport to and from school. HATS works closely with families, schools, and transport providers to ensure pupils travel comfortably and arrive ready to learn.

PLEASE NOTE: Beormund Primary school is not responsible for the special needs travel contract. This is managed through Southwark SEND transport.

Southwark Information, Advice and Support (SIAS)

Southwark Information, Advice and Support (SIAS) provides free, impartial and confidential advice and support for parents, carers and young people (aged 0-25) about Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

SIAS helps families understand and navigate SEND processes, including:

Support in school settings and communicating with education staff
Advice on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and annual reviews
Preparation for SEND-related meetings
Help with resolving disagreements, mediation and appeals
Information on travel assistance and other services
Guidance on transitions, training and pathways to further learning and employment

This service is a supportive point of contact for families to feel informed and confident when making decisions about their child’s education and support.
